Patient receiving acupuncture

I believe in your body’s capacity to heal itself under the proper conditions. And, I like to be involved in helping that healing to come about more quickly so that you can get back to living a vibrant life.

I know you may have been to several doctors and tried treatments and plans and diets and whatever else Google might have suggested. You’ve been through the ringer with doctors and specialists and tests. But you’re still stuck in the frustration of not seeing improvement. To put it bluntly, you’re out of patience. You wouldn’t be alone, that’s how most of our patients come to us. That buck stops here.

You see, I got into this line of work because I am passionate about finding answers. I support people from all walks of life to tap into the body’s natural ability to heal using methods that have been working for human beings for thousands of years. Whether you are looking to eliminate chronic pain, have a successful pregnancy, or to have greater energy and mental clarity…

My gift is helping you discover the root of what’s causing your symptoms so that you can unlock the healing power inside your cells.

Once you realize how powerful your body is, you’ll wonder what else you’re capable of.

I’ve found that when your health is restored, it has a domino effect on the rest of your life. From career to relationships to financial well-being. Whether you’re dealing with infertility or pain or IBS, you can use these ancient healing methods to make a shift. You’ll might even wonder why you didn’t try this years ago. Every step of your journey, you’re taking you’re leading yourself straight to your own healing. Even when it feels like you’re getting shuffled and tossed around.

Right now you might be feeling pretty cynical. Maybe conventional western medicine has let you down as you search for answers. That’s exactly why I'm here. I've studied medicine and explored all of the options.  I landed on acupuncture because I knew that it had the potential to help people just like you.

If you’re ready to grab the reins and take charge of your own well-being, you might be surprised at how much these ancient remedies can help.

How did I become an acupuncturist?

When I applied for acupuncture school, I didn’t really know what acupuncture was.

They almost laughed me right out of the building. But I was determined. In fact, after I graduated I went on extended study in China, but I guess I should rewind a bit…

I grew up right here in Fargo/Moorhead.  I always felt like I thought a bit ‘outside of the box’.  I always knew I wanted to help people heal. I found my way to acupuncture by meandering my way through college and a pursuit of how I could bring the most healing to people.

Ultimately, I knew that I could offer more through ancient practices than I ever could in conventional western medicine.

So I threw myself into it. In addition to acupuncture, I completed a Yoga teacher training and got some Ayurvedic credentials.

After a lot of moving and exploring my options, I ended up in Fargo-Moorhead. Which is funny, I never envisioned myself living here. But I believe that everything happens for a reason and I know that if I’m here it’s because there are people here who I'm meant to serve.

I know there is so much more to illness and disease, and I'm on a mission to provide the kind of medicine that can support the whole healing process. I wanted to be a doctor, and I could have been. I did my pre-med studies and was on the path of conventional western medicine. But something stopped me. I had professors who encouraged me to explore and research alternatives.

I discovered that the deeper relationship between the mind, emotions, and physical body are important. It’s all literally connected.

The journey has been humbling. From starting out with treatments in a borrowed room at a midwife center, to moving into private offices with multiple treatment rooms, I’ve simply been following the path of least resistance and it’s led me here.

The healing I've witnessed in my patients has been my truest joy.

I’ve been shown time and time again that this is the path I am meant to be on to help the people who need me most.

If you’ve made it this far, I think you know I have something to offer you.

You deserve health and vitality. Let me help you uncover it.
